Fiji have been drawn alongside defending champions Wales and Pacific rivals Tonga for the Rugby World Cup sevens in Moscow at the end of June.

Wales were shock winners of the last World Cup in 2009 when the top four teams all went out in the quarter-finals.

This year's comp is split into six pools of four, with the group winners and two best second-placed teams advancing to the quarter finals.

Also in Fiji's pool is Uruguay, while Samoa have been drawn with fast-improving Kenya, as well as minnows Zimbabwe and the Philippines.

Meanwhile New Zealand should have few problems having been drawn alongside the United States, Canada and Georgia.

In the women's draw, Fiji will meet the USA, Spain and Brazil in pool play.
