Samoa and Tonga have both suffered defeats in the opening round of the Pacific Rugby Cup over the weekend.
Samoa A were thumped 52-19 by the Brumby Runners in Canberra on Friday.
Tonga A went down 24-3 to the Reds College XV in Brisbane a day later, while the Fiji Warriors v Junior Waratahs match was cancelled because of the weather.
