Polynesian Airlines has rejected Samoa Air's application to use Fagali'i Airport for flights to American Samoa.
Samoa Air CEO Chris Langton told Talamua online that they received a rejection letter which he says is contrary to conditions Samoa Air was given when it started up services.
He says the matter has been referred to the Prime Minister.
Samoa Air had plans to begin offering a service to American Samoa from this month.
