The defending champion Fiji Warriors were beaten 38-20 by the Hurricanes Development team in Wanganui, ensuring they complete the New Zealand leg of the competition winless.
Tonga A were thrashed 70-19 by the Crusader Knights in Christchurch to remain winless in their past six matches, while Samoa A fared best in a 35-25 defeat by the Chiefs Development Team.
In the other game, the Blues Development team outclassed the Japan Juniors 43-19.
The PRC now takes a break, with the Pacific leg to be held later in the year.
