American Samoa's government of Lolo Matalasi Moliga is getting the 5 million US dollar supplemental budget it requested.

The 5 million supplemental is to cover 20 government projects - ranging from employee overtime payments, court judgments, an immigration tracking system, school maintenance, and reimbursements of disallowable costs for federal programs.

There is also funding going to the Governor's Office to pay for payouts under the pervious administration, restore the governor's contingency fund, and fund contract services for consultancy projects.

The funding sources are for the appropriations include the Tobacco Master and Toyota settlements, military cover over tax, and recoverable indirect costs in the government fiscal year 2013 budget.

Also approved by the Fono are two administration bills increasing the memberships of the ASG Retirement Fund and Immigration boards from five to 7.
