Sport: O-League semi finals berths in offering

11:30 am on 17 April 2013

Amicale FC can confirm their place in the semi finals of the Oceania Champions League on Wednesday afternoon.

They won on Saturday to keep pace with Fijian title-holders Ba in Group A.

Both teams have seven points from three matches, six clear of their opponents in match-day four, Hekari United and Solomon Warriors.

A win will guarantee their place in the final four and Amicale coach Richard Iwai says they will have to be on their game.

"Hekari tomorrow (Wednesday) is coming for the win because they know that is the only chance. If they lose tomorrow then they don't have another chance. They have been the champions in the last few years so I think they are coming very strong and they are coming to win the game. We started good so we want to reach the semi finals but we take every team like it's a final."

Auckland City can also book their spot in the last four with a win over Tahitian champs Dragon in Group B this afternoon, while Waitakere United take on Mont-Dore.
