Fiji police officers have been warned not to be involved in any illegal activities.
FBC News says the warning has been issued by the Police Chief Operations Officer, Rusiate Tudravu, at a parade at the Nasova ground in Nasese.
He says he would like to remind everybody that given the political situation, police officers have to be apolitical.
The assistant commissioner says the police force will not at any time part with government.
He added that any police officer involved in any breaches would be taken to task.
