The police in Samoa have arrested a businessman for the importation of methamphetamine after the discovery of the drugs in a large container from the United States.
Customs officers uncovered the drugs in some of the goods in the container during a routine check with the suspect present.
Several containers from the United States belong to several business people were put on hold as a result for customs checks but finally released yesterday afternoon.
