The body of Vanuatu's honorary consul to the Philippines, Samson Ngele, will be flown back to his home island of Ambae today.
Mr Ngele's body arrived in Vanuatu yesterday and government leaders and family paid respects while it lay in state at the Malvatumauri National Council of Chiefs Nakamal.
The cause of death is not known.
