Two Samoan women have filed complaints in American Samoa that their sponsor forced them to perform sex with fishermen who visited her bar.

The sponsor has been charged with promoting prostitution and allegedly assaulting the women.

According to the criminal complaint, the assault happened on April the 20th, the day the women were to be sent back to Samoa.

The women ran away from their sponsor at the airport and sought the help of airport security.

They told police that as well as being waitresses, they were forced by the sponsor to entice customers to spend all their money, and later to provide them with sex for money.
