Samoa's Ministry of Education sack two employees for theft

Two employees of Samoa's Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture have been sacked for stealing stationery from the Ministry's Malifa headquarters.

The Ministry's Chief Executive, Matafeo Tanieulu Aiafi, has declined to name the pair or their positions.

Matafeo says two security were originally suspended in relation to the missing stationery, but they have since been cleared and reinstated in their roles.
