The Marshall Islands Auditor General is optimistic the Ministry of Finance is on track to produce the latest audit close to the required deadline.
Deloitte auditors are currently conducting fieldwork on financial data at the Ministry of Finance as part of the fiscal year 2012 audit.
Whether the final audit can be produced by the 30th of June deadline remains an open question, but Auditor General Junior Patrick is optimistic.
The Attorney General thinks there is still time to get the audit done by June 30.
