The police in Samoa have charged a young man over the death of a Tokelauan woman.
They say the woman, who had been living with the accused in a defacto relationship at the time of her death, had been stabbed with a small knife.
The police spokesperson, Fauono Talalelei Tapu, says the death was the result of a dispute between the accused and the deceased but police are still carrying out an investigation.
The man is due to appear in court in two weeks.
