Papua New Guinea police say four Chinese nationals were murdered last night at a shop in the Koki area of the capital Port Moresby.

The three males and one female are believed to have been staff at the general food store they were working in when attacked at around 9pm last night.

Police say one of the men was beheaded and the others chopped up, showing the hallmarks of a sword attack.
