Fiji's Education Ministry says it will ensure every primary school in the country has an iTaukei and a Hindu language teacher.
It says it is very pleased with the new constitution's provision to make the teaching of the iTaukei and the Hindi along with English compulsory at primary school level.
The Ministry's permanent secretary Dr Brij Lal says the two languages have been introduced for past three years but on a very small scale.
He says it will now help them to strengthen it in every schools.
"We are very pleased and we have the teachers we just have to now reshuffle them and move them to various schools so they are fully staff and we have people of different cultures there to teach the other languages."
