Second woman judge appointed to Samoa's district court

The District court in Samoa will soon have a second woman judge following the appointment of a prominent lawyer and Executive Director of Samoa's Law Reform Commission, Leilani Tuala Warren, as a new judge.

Mrs Warren will join the first appointed woman judge, Mata Tuatagaloa, after she will be sworn in on the 23rd of August.

The newly appointed judge will leave her current position in two weeks time to take up her new career.
