Samoa police and prosecutors are being asked why no one was charged with receiving three stolen containers.
A Supreme Court judge, Justice Lesatele Rapi Vaai, is demanding answers in the case of a truck driver, Fa'aolaina Kini, who has admitted in court that he stole containers belonging to his employer.
He told the court he had given police the names of the people he had sold the containers to.
The prosecutor Rexona Titi told the court that no charges had been laid against the receivers.
Judge Vaai asked the prosecution for a report on why this is the case given that the law requires receivers of stolen goods to be charged.
