Impeding Tahiti airport strike triggers schedule rejig

Airline schedules in French Polynesia are being changed to cope with an airport staff strike due to begin at midnight.

International carriers have realigned their flights to depart between 7pm and 7am.

Air France, Air Tahiti Nui and Air New Zealand have brought forward the departure of their flights.

The domestic carrier, Air Tahiti, has advised its customers to check its website as timetables will be subject to changes for the next few days.
