The Solomon Islands government says arrangements for the 10th anniversary of the arrival in the country of the Regional Assistance Mission, or RAMSI, are well underway.
The celebrations are to involve three days of activities, from the 23d to the 25th of July.
All Pacific Islands Forum leaders, except the prime minister of Fiji, have been invited to the events.
Five leaders and nine countries have so far accepted the invitation.
