Former Zimbabwe international spinner, Paul Strang has joined the Barramundi's coaching team as the assistant to current PNG head coach, Peter Anderson.

Strang comes on board with a wealth of coaching experience ahead off an important four months for the Barramundi's who head into several important tournaments.

The Barramundi's are currently in Darwin competing in the inaugural South Australian Cricket Association's Premier League which will be followed by the ICC World T20 Qualifiers in November followed by the 50 Over World Cup Qualifiers in January 2014.

Strang says he is excited to be a part of such an enthusiastic group of cricketers who have a big four months coming up.

He says hopefully his experiences in New Zealand and Zimbabwe can benefit PNG and their goal to climb the world rankings and qualify for a world cup.
