Two men apprehended in PNG over brtual killing of Chinese shopkeepers

Police in Papua New Guinea say they have apprehended two men in Hela Province over the brutal killing of two shopkeepers.

The Chinese nationals were set upon early in the morning about ten days ago in their shop at the site of the country's LNG gas project.

The shop was ransacked and police say a subtantial amount of cash was taken.

PNG's Deputy Police Commissioner Operations, Simon Kauba, says five suspects are still at large.

The victims were from China's Fujian province.
