A man who has been on life support after a beating in Fagaalu in American Samoa last Friday night has died.
KHJ News has received confirmation from police and hospital sources that the man, Aiano Misilei, who was 28, died last night.
He suffered a brain injury when his assailant struck his head with a hammer in an argument during a drinking party.
His passing means that the government will now charge defendant Matulino Tauali'i with murder.
