Seven staff of a gas company that is part of Tonga Power have been sacked, allegedly for cheating customers.
Radio Tonga reports that during an inspection it was found some staff at LP Home Gas Limited were allegedly not filling gas bottles fully but charging customers the maximum price.
In other cases some people had their bottles filled but paid for a lesser quantity.
The company's board has also been dissolved and the company is to be re-structured.
To counter further allegations of cheating surveillance cameras and scales have been installed.
