15 retired teachers from Fiji are expected to teach in Vanuatu secondary schools next year.

The director-general of ministry of education, Jesse Dick, says the teachers have their posts confirmed.

The arrangement is in line with a deal signed by Fiji's foreign minister.

He says the teachers are member of Fiji Volunteer Scheme programme which also applies to the Marshall Islands and Nauru.
