American Samoa gets acting AG

American Samoa's Deputy Attorney General, Talauega Eleasalo Ale, has been appointed acting Attorney General until a permanent choice has been made.

Talauega has been the Deputy Attorney General overseeing the Civil division of the Attorney General's office while Mitzie Jessop is the deputy heading the Criminal division.

The incumbent, Afoa Moega Lutu, will be in the AG's office until Monday as he will move to take up the Senate seat left vacant by the passing of Senator Faagata Mano.
