American Samoa's cabinet directors are all expected to be present today when the 3rd Regular Session of the 33rd Legislature of American Samoa opens.
The joint Fono session will be at the Fono Guest Fale, where the governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga will deliver his State of the Territory Address.
In a memo late last week, Lolo reminded directors of the governor's duty under local law to deliver in January each year the annual address reporting on progress attained during the previous year.
While directors have busy schedules, the governor stressed that it's important that the Executive Branch demonstrate to the Legislature their solidarity by attending today's opening.
