CNMI governor in hospital for flu-like symptoms

The governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, Eloy Inos, is being treated in hospital for flu-like symptoms.

His press secretary Angel Demapan confirmed that the governor was admitted to the Commonwealth Health Centre on Monday but says he may be discharged on Wednesday.

Months ago critics of Governor Inos created noise about his ongoing dialysis treatment but the administration and his supporters said this has not hampered the governor's ability to lead the CNMI.
