PNG Kumuls international Wellington Albert will depart Port Moresby tomorrow to take up his two year contract with the Penrith Panthers.
Albert's Visa was managed and processed through the PNGRFL by the PNG
Hunters Queensland Cup side and was approved by Australian Immigration on Monday.
The CEO of the PNGRFL and PNG Hunters, Brad Tassell, says a structure is firmly in place with the two organisations for processing of visas.
He says after reading various media reports about PNG players having trouble obtaining visas, it is recommended that they contact the PNGRFL in the first instance and notify them so they can be advised on the correct procedures
required and assist in that process
