Fiji revokes company's licence for foreign exchange

The Reserve Bank of Fiji has revoked local company Sandalwood Development Ltd's licence to operate as a foreign exchange money changer with immediate effect.

The company has been a licensed money changer since 1998.

But the governor of the Reserve Bank, Barry Whiteside, says the company has not complied with the conditions of its licence.
