Japan has given Tonga more than 200,000 US dollars to upgrade two schools on 'Eua.
The money is to pay for improvements at the Hofangahau College and the Tufuvai Primary School.
The schools will get new class rooms and toilet blocks.
Both schools applied for Japanese assistance in September.
