Batting woes are causing concern for Papua New Guinea ahead of their Under 19 Cricket World Cup opener in the United Arab Emirates.
The Garamuts lost their second straight warm up match overnight, with PNG only able to muster 159 for 9 in reply to Canada's 231.
Early wickets again dogged the Garamuts run chase, with Tom Willie top-scoring with 45 not out down the order as PNG managed just 159 for 9 in reply.
PNG's coach Rarua Dikana admits there were some worrying signs but backs his players to improve.
"Obviously we had two rough days which we did not sort of apply pretty well in the early or the top order. But there's a lot of responsibility on Dogodo [Bau] - he's our captain and he's our main batsmen. If the younger ones step up and take some pressure off the skipper I think we will be able to post some good scores and then our bowlers will back up a good batting performance by bowling well and we can still cause some surprises."
PNG open their World Cup campaign against Scotland this weekend.
