India made 301 batting first with Alei Nao the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 46 from his ten overs.
In reply the Garamuts were bowled out for 56, with Riley Hekure and Hiri Hiri the only batsmen to make it into double figures.
PNG will now play New Zealand on Sunday night in their first classification match to decide 9th to 16th places.
