Papua New Guinea remain winless at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup despite their best performance to date in a six wicket defeat to New Zealand.

Kiplin Doriga made 50 and Riley Hekure 35 as the Garamuts put on 86 for the opening wicket.

Hiri Hiri and Tom Willie also added contributions down the order as PNG posted 186 all out, their highest total of the tournament.

In reply, Alei Nao picked up an early wicket but New Zealand eventually reached their target in the 47th over.
