Call in Vanuatu not to sell foreign goods to tourists

In Vanuatu, mamas' organisations which sell products to tourists on the Port Vila sea front have called on all operators to only sell goods made in Vanuatu.

They complain that some women are also selling Chinese made goods.

The concerns follow a survey undertaken by the South Pacific Tourism Organisation of cruise ship visits to both Port Vila and Mystery Island in Aneityum.

The findings also highlight that Mystery Island is the destination that cruise ship visitors most want to visit.
