Australia is giving Fiji more financial help to control an outbreak of dengue fever.

The Australian government is donating 680 thousand US dollars through the Australian-funded Fiji Health Sector Support Program to buy medical supplies and fund a public health communication campaign.

It says its support will complement the Fiji government's efforts to control the outbreak.
