In American Samoa, Manu'a District Governor Misaalefua Hudson has been charged with two counts of third degree assault and public peace disturbance.

He is accused of making threatening remarks to a National Park Service employee at the Harbor in Ofu, Manu'a.

It's alleged that the District Governor became upset when he couldn't ride on the National Park Service boat from Ofu to Ta'u.

Misaalefua claimed that the employee was disrespectful to him when he enquired about the Park boat.
