Fiji have finished fourth after an impressive showing in the penultimate round of the IRB Women's Sevens Series in China.
The Fijiana team beat England and Ireland in pool play, either side of a loss against Australia to qualify for the Cup semi finals.
Eventual winners New Zealand proved too strong, winning 26-0 before Canada ran away 26-5 victors in the third place playoff match.
But Fiji's 14 points saw them jump to eighth in the overall standings, ahead of teams such as Brazil and Ireland who have competed in twice as many tournaments.
The fifth and final tournament of the series is in the Netherlands in May.
