Figures released by the Fiji Bureau of Statistics say visitor arrivals in 2013 dropped by 0.4 per cent compared to 2012.
Fiji Live online says Australia remains the highest source of visitors o Fiji, making up 51.7 per cent of total arrivals in 2013 - up from 51.1 per cent in 2012.
The number of visitors from New Zealand also increased to 16.5 per cent in 2013 from 16.1 per cent in 2012.
Australia (340,151), New Zealand (108,239), the USA (55,385), Pacific Islands (39,450) and Continental Europe (28,905) were Fiji's top five visitor source markets in 2013.
They accounted for 87% of total international visitor arrivals in 2013.
Canada, United Kingdom, Europe and Japan remained stagnant in their percentage of tourists visiting the country from 2012-2013 whereas visiotr arrivals from USA, China, South Korea and the rest of Asia all dropped.
