The Papua New Guinea Hunters have stood down prop Gonzela Urakusie subject to an internal investigation following an alleged incident last Sunday in Goroka.

Hunters CEO Brad Tassell says the decision was made after close consultation with Welfare Officer Mark Mom, Head Coach Michael Marum, PNGRFL Chairman Sandis Tsaka and Hunters Chairman Graham Osborne.

Urakusie says he accepts the clubs decision and will cooperate fully with any investigators and club officials.
