Samisoni Viriviri has been included on a four person shortlist for the IRB Sevens player of the year award.
The Fijian flyer tops the try scoring charts this season with 48, 17 clear of New Zealand's Tim Mikkleson, who won the MVP award last year.
Mikkleson has again been shortlisted, with South Africa's Kyle Brown and England's Tom Mitchell the other nominees.
The winner will be announced at a function following the final round of the World Series, which starts in England this weekend.
