The Samoa Rugby Union says it will continue to press for an All Blacks test match in Samoa despite being turned down several times.

New Zealand Rugby confirmed on Wednesday the All Blacks will play an international against the USA in Chicago in November.

The All Blacks have never played a test in Fiji, Samoa or Tonga and New Zealand Rugby boss Steve Tew says there are still no plans to change that any time soon.

The Samoa Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer, Fred Amoa, says all they can do is continue to press their case.

"We keep knocking on the door. Probably it's not going to happen in the next two or three years but at some stage it will probably happen and we just keep hoping they will hear us and I'll be able to schedule a test or tests in the region."

Fred Amoa says an All Blacks test in Samoa would encourage more Samoans to take up the game.
