Fiji's prime minister has revealed the Social Democratic Liberal Party and the United Front for a Democratic Fiji allegedly distributed flyers relating to misleading information about his salary.

Rear Admiral Frank Bainimarama told Fiji Village some people in the Northern Division complained to him about the distribution of the flyers in Vanua Levu.

SODELPA leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa, says her party is not behind the distribution of the flyers which claims the prime minister's salary is nearly one million US dollars.

But Rear Admiral Bainimarama maintains the people who spoke to him said that the flyers were from SODELPA and the United Front.

He stresses that he does not earn nearly one million US dollars, and that people will find out what his salary is after the registration of the proposed FijiFirst.

When the proposed FijiFirst is registered, the party officials will have to disclose personal incomes, assets, business connections, director-ships, gifts, and liabilities with 30 days.

Meanwhile United Front spokesperson Mick Beddoes says his previous claims that the prime minister was earning more nearly one million US dollars was made in the past.
