Samoan tennis player Steffi Carruthers has been beaten in the second round of her latest Futures event in South Carolina.
The 20 year old was no match for the fourth seeded American Caitlin Whoriskey, going down 6-4 7-5.
Carruthers and her partner were also knocked in the first round of doubles.
