An Indonesian military officer has reportedly been shot by members of an outlawed armed group in a border area between the Papua and Papua New Guinea.
The Antara news agency says the condition of the military officer is not yet known.
The Skouw-Wutung border has been closed for two months following a shooting incident that injured an Indonesian police officer.
