Oceania may not be represented among the 32 World Cup teams but there is a four-strong panel of match officials making the trip to Brazil.

New Zealand's Peter O'Leary is one of 25 referees selected for the Cup.

Compatriots Jan-Hendrik Hintz and Mark Rule are paired up as O'Leary's assistants while Tahiti's Norbert Hauatu is acting in a support role.

Hauata became a FIFA referee six years ago and told FIFA.COM it's an honour to represent French Polynesia at the World Cup.

"This is a magic emotion - World Cup. [I'm just} so happy, just enjoy, that's all. People where I'm from no believe I come to World Cup. They know I'm refereeing before but no believe to me that I'm going to the World Cup."
