The Fijian community in Auckland will be presented the opportunity to find out about Fiji's upcoming elections and to discuss whether they will be free and fair at a public meeting this weekend.

The meeting, organised by the Coalition for Democracy in Fiji, will be attended by the leader of the National Federation Party, Biman Prasad, and the party's president, Tupou Draunidalo.
The coaliton's spokesperson, Nik Naidu, says the evening will be about discussing the country's economy, constitution, elections and the current political climate in Fiji.
"It is more and education type meeting and seminar where people can have access to information, and it's for everyone who is interested in Fiji and Fijian politics and the situation in Fiji."
Nik Naidu says the meeting will be held on Saturday afternoon at the Mount Roskill War Memorial Hall.
