Hollywood film star Angelina Jolie has no plans to visit Nauru.
Last week Nauru's president Baron Waqa said that Ms Jolie, who is a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, had accepted his invitation to visit the island.
Nauru is current hosting hundreds of asylum seekers incarcerated in Australia run detention camps.
Mr Waqa says he made the offer to Ms Jolie when they met at a global summit on sexual violence against women in conflict in London last month.
But Fairfax Media reports sources saying the actress has no plans to visit Nauru, and her diary is full for the next 12 months.
