A civilian has been shot and killed by an armed group in the Puncak Jaya regency of Papua, according to Indonesian police reports.
The Jakarta Post reports that the 30-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while another two men are in a critical condition at hospital.
The three men were part of a convoy that was transporting food items from Wamena to Mulia when it was attacked by a group of armed civilians, who later burned four of the vehicles.
A spokesperson for Papua police says a joint task force of 26 police and Indonesian soldiers have been assigned to handle the case.
