Manu Samoa forward Kane Thompson has signed a one-year deal with the Newcastle Falcons in England.
The 32 year old is currently playing for defending Super Rugby champion Chiefs and is no stranger to the northern hemisphere, having played three seasons for French club U.S. Dax.
Newcastle Director of Rugby Dean Richards told the Falcons website the 28-test veteran is a proven operator at the highest levels of rugby in the Southern Hemisphere and has also done very well internationally for Samoa.
