The Northern Marianas Lottery Commission and the company rewarded a conditional licence to develop a Saipan casino have 30 days to hammer out the two billion US dollar deal.
This comes after the Lottery Commission yesterday voted to amend a 30 million US dollar agreement and extend it by a month from today.
The Commission and the Hong-Kong based company, Best Sunshine International Limited, are working through the details of the deal, such as the location of the 2,000-room hotels to be developed with the casino.
An agreement is now expected to be inked as early as late next week.
